Armada Property UK is proud to support Archie Hudson, a 13-year-old Exeter City FC Academy player heading into his sixth year at one of the South West’s most respected football development programmes.
Archie first joined the prestigious Exeter City Academy as an under-9 and has been retained every year since, which is a remarkable achievement in one of the region’s most competitive youth football environments. This summer, he steps up to the under-14s, continuing a journey that began when he first started playing football at the age of six with local club Saints Southwest.
Training three times a week at Exeter City’s Cliff Hill training ground, Archie has developed into a highly versatile player who is comfortable across the back line and in midfield. He also impressed as a striker at times in the last season.
His commitment to the game extends beyond his standard training. Throughout the summer, Archie dedicates his own time to maintaining his fitness and strength, with the new season underway from 22nd June and tours to Scotland and London planned for August.
Armada Property UK has sponsored Archie for the past five seasons, covering his kit costs each year. The relationship grew out of a longstanding personal friendship between Armada’s Ben Coggins and Archie’s family, who have attended Spurs matches together over the years.
Ben Coggins, Director at Armada Property UK, commented: “We are delighted to continue our support for Archie as he heads into another exciting season with the Exeter City Academy. It’s a real testament to his hard work and dedication that he has been retained year after year at such a high level.
“As a local business, we care deeply about supporting young people in our community and helping them pursue their ambitions, and Archie is a fantastic example of what commitment and passion can achieve. We wish him a brilliant season ahead.”
